I’m sure you will enjoy this war.
You’re not the one to pay with blood.
Your children will not die in mud
Encircled by sorrow, fear and gore.

Tune in your TV and relax,
And don’t forget to choose the side.
Nothing’s as fun as genocide,
So stuff your fridge with few six-packs.

The comfort of the warm armchair
Is nicest spot to speculate
About the survival rate
In towns with shattered healthcare.

Of course you should invite a friend.
Who roots for other side of strife.
Declare: he’s now your foe for life.
Now start to brawl without end.

Recite your favourite tactics book.
Then yell “Their commanders are fools!
What did they learn in command schools?!”
At TV screen with angry look.

And when you’ll get another beer.
Tell “Soldier has the sacred right
To rape a woman at first sight.”
In lower voice your wife won’t hear.

Machine gun shots outside your door
You look outside and then you feel
All is the same but now it’s real.
I’m sure you will enjoy this war.
